Problems with overwriting filename using batchscan

Postby topissel » Fri Nov 04, 2005 10:55 pm

Using batchscan to scan some slides I had a filename set like "foto??-1-". Scanning with these filenames failed. Apparently Silverfast doesn't like the "??". But now I can't overwrite the field. Everytime I try to make another input and tell silverfast to save, the system does just nothing.
I thought about removing the software, but when I do that, these settings would still be present after running the software after reinstallation again. I don't know, where these parameters are stored. Anybody there with an idea?

topissel,

If you are using a PC running Windows XP try deleting the "prefs" located C:\Documents and Settings\[your logon name]\Application Data\Lasersoft Imaging\SilverFast\Prefs if you are using Windows XP.

If that does not solve the problem then goto the link below and complete a support form.

Good Luck!
