Problems with Descreening; Photoshop CS Unexpectedly Quits

Today, for the first time, PS CS Quit when SF AI was completing a descreening. I am using a G5 with OS 10.4.7. Is this a new problem? Did I miss an earlier discussion?

please provide us with more detailed information - i.e. scan resolution, image size etc. best would be a screen shot of the SilverFast dialogue.
