Prescan window remains empty SF6 on Mac OS X 10.3.9

use latest version plug-in (Microtech 9800 XL scanner)
when I do a pre-scan with one program like Photoshop CS this problem
does not occur.

But when I use a Filemaker Plug-In (Insidescan) to scanning from Filemaker 7 or 8, there is no image when I do a prescan.. the scanning itself works (but that means working in the blind).

I used this function before... and it did work for two years... but now when I use the SF AI 6 module (which refers to 2 SF folders (in Applications and in import/export p[lug-in Photoshop CS2) no image...

I guess something must have changed...

When I try to set one of the preferences when SF has been opened through Filemaker/Insidescan some options are greyed and can not be set (like the measurements (inches or pixels)... that seems to pointg to a conflict with preference file... but how could I repair this, or is there a work around.

Am I the only one using such a configuration?

Dear Tjebbe

can't tell if you're the only one with such a config, however, the only one I encountered in SilverFast supporting work. 8)
Still, why not use SF stand-alone and save to file, later to load these into Filemaker, as a possible workaround?
