Prescan mask (frame) doesnt match what i get on full scan

I am using a Pentacon camera (solarM3) with silverfast6 on an XP box
running through photoshop.

I was running this system on win ME and SF5.5 with no problems, but since I upgraded to winXP and SF 6 I have this problem.

When I open the frame around the page I want to scan it looks fine in prescan, but when I do the full scan the area scanned is offset by up to an inch at times and not always in the same direction.


Any thoughts?

Yes, this was a bug in the Version till .42. Please download the actuall Version from our Dwonload Area.
