Prescan crash after setting ICM in 650r6 - RESOLVED

I recently installed Photoshop CS3 and then the latest version of SF AI studio.

I enable ICM and set a profile, e.g. the Canon manufacturers profile

I then do a scan or prescan and I get a lock up or crash. Deleting the prefs files does not seem to help.

However, if I scan without an ICM profile enabled, the scan works.

The log file after a crash says:

Used NegaFix profile set: <C>

Note: I have always run with ICM profile speficied in the past with no problem.

I found that if I don't set an input profile - everything seems to work fine.

I must not have had that set before. So, I think everthing is now working well. Odd though that SF would crash under the circumstance.

Dear Eric,

I could not reproduce your problem description.
You write that your prescan shows the problem, too. Is this correct?
Did you check the behaviour of SilverFast when run under the SFLauncher?
