Plug-in and SF_app freeze when scanning

Just installed Silverfast ai 6 on Mac os9.2.2, with Photoshop 7. Have Saphir Ultra 2 scsi scanner with Adaptec 2906 scsi card installed.

In both instances I can complete a pre-scan, but then the app freezes when I hit the Scan button. I've increased the memory in the SF_app, trashed preferences, same thing happens.

Any ideas??

If you have still a problem - please describe exactly step by step under which conditions it occurs
