Hello everyone,

I really need your help on this one: I bought the Plustek 8100 scanner that came with the Silverfast SE Plus 8. I installed the Plustek app and drivers and the Silverfast software, entered the software and wanted to scan a negative. Now, I`ve been playing with this almost 5 hours, tried all the settings, all the adjustment , uninstalling, re-insatlling, what not.. and nothing. every time the negative gets half - scanned. . I mean its not an issue of left and right but it gets scanned half vertically. It does it everytime. Have no idea what I should do already.

I checked the rail and the negative in it, it seems like it sits well, anyway there are no too many possible ways there, tried to enter from the left side, nope, from the right side. nope. I read the manual like 5 times, nothing.

Please help me with this.

I use WIN 7 64BIT, Plustek 8100 and the Silverfast SE Plus 8.

Dear customer,

does the red scan frame include the entire image?

Is the film holder inserted correctly?

If that is set correctly you probably have to contact Plustek about your issue.
