i assume everthing looks ok in device manager ?
What version of ASPI do you have running ? You can google to find and download ASPICHK (or CK ?) and it will verify version and correct install. i believe that the current version for win2k is 4.70 or higher.

take a look here:
http://www.support.microtek.com/product ... =26&ctgy=1
for microtek scsi info.

Thank you very much for your help.
It was the ASPI , I updated it from "Adaptec" website ; one reboot and the scanner is working properly.
Thanks again.

Dear Microtek SCSI scanner users

as the link kindly posted by Frank ("degrub") above is outdated, I wish to provide you with an alternative URL:
http://download.microtek.de/FAQs/FAQsE.php

There's also an English and German SCSI in PDF format available there to download.

ASPI layer drivers are provided by LaserSoft, too:
https://www.silverfast.com/show/download/en.html

If you need help with installing these, you want to check our FAQ:
https://www.silverfast.com/faq/1002/en.html#aspi

Kind regards
