Navigator Window Missing

When adding and deleting frames the Navigator window will appear and disappear seemingly at random. Sometimes I can get it to show up again by using the Expand All Dock Windows option and it will magically appear. Other times I can't make the navigator window appear anywhere. Is there a way to bring that window up if it's missing?

At the same time when moving between frames with the navigator the Scanner Status window (which I use undocked on a different monitor) will jump back onto the dock from time to time.

This is on 8.0.1r36, also happened in the previous version.

Dear customer,

The Navigator window is shown when you zoom into an image or use the 1:1 preview.
When the entire image is shown in the preview window it is not needed and closes.
