My Epson 3200 is seen as Epson GT9800

My version of SilverFastSE Espon is 6.0.2r32 (lthe last update). Is it normal ? Does it matter ?

should not matter, unless everything shows up in japanese....

. That is the name given to the scanner in Japan. Do a search on the Epson Japan site and you will find it.
