Multi Exposure in SE Plus

Hello.

I've just invested in an Epson V750 scanner; using the supplied Silverfast 8 SE Plus 8.0.1r48 on my Mac OSX 10.9.3

Steep learning curve!

I can't find a 'Multi Exposure Preview' box under the 'Special' tab of Preferences. Here are my options:

I'm fairly sure it should be there on the SE Plus version - can anyone advise please?

(i'm assuming it's operator error... )

Dear customer,

Please make sure SilverFast is set to transparency mode.
The option is not shown for reflective scanning.

The main Window shows which version is in use in the upper left corner.
