Dear customer,

If that is not one of our targets you need to get the reference file from the manufacturer.
You can not use any other reference file.
It MUST be the one exactly for that target.

kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.

Hello !

I have the same problem.

I want to use my old target (Fuji Paper) but i don't find it !?

IT8.7/2-1993
2008 : 06
ref : R080613

I've got the right txt file (R080613.txt) in the right folder (IT8 Reference>LaserSoft Imaging>Reflective).

I'm working with a MAC OS 10.7 and the Silverfast 8

... but i have a error message when i try the IT8 Calibration :

"Valeur DeltaE trop grande!
Adjust the scan frame as show in the picture.
After that click "Start", please!"

I have try to change the frame, but no change

Dear customer,

This message normally means that your target has changed too much and can not be used for calibration anymore.
IT8 targets are very sensitive.
If they change color for some reason (warm storage, sunlight, humidity,...) they are no longer usable and must be replaced.
Most IT8 targets not stored in a special container have to be replaced after three to five years.

kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn

OK ! Thanks ..

But I've tried this morning with the same target BUT with a MAC OS 10.6 and a Silverfast 6.6 .. and it's working with success ..

So, I still don't understand ...

which delta E did you get?

The 6.6 version did not have a safety limit like the version 8.0.

kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
