Making a rotated frame square again

Postby wallrat » Fri May 20, 2011 6:38 pm

Hello, I tried searching for this issue but I wasn't able to find any answers. I have noticed that after a frame is rotated, whether manually or by using the "find frames" feature, that it's impossible to drag the frame back into "square." When you try to rotate it square again, it will skip over "square" and go slightly out of square one direction or the other. This is frustrating in that when you have an item that is square, if you have ever rotated the frame before, it's impossible to get it back to square. Does this make sense or do you need some screenshots to illustrate it. Is there a way to do this that I am missing?

Thanks in advance,
-Bill

Dear Bill,

First grab the halve circle for turning the frame and then press the shift key.
The frame will lock into 45° positions now.

kind regards,

NICE! Thank You. It's an understatement to say this has been driving me nuts.

Thanks again for you usual quick response!
