Hi,
I see elsewhere on the forums that Photoshop 7 isn't (maybe by now it is) supported officially by LaserSoft so maybe that's part of this problem, but I wanted to report it nonetheless to see if anyone else has experienced it or if there is a reason/fix for it.
I received SilverFast 5.5 a while ago and serialized it for HDR, IT8 and JobManager. This seemed to work fine for a while (other JobManager output problems aside). I usually use ACDSee 4 to acquire and edit images and for the tough ones, I use Photoshop 5.02.
Recently I bought the Photoshop 7 upgrade and installed it. I have been using ACDSee and Photoshop for the last month or so but have not scanned anything recently. I have to reply to Eric Flyvbjerg regarding my JobManager/Batch Mode problems so I decided to scan a couple new scans to send to him.
Much to my surprise, the output all has the SilverFast logo/watermark on them and when I checked, suddenly I find that the product was in demo mode and I had to not only insert the 5.5 serial number, but I also had to insert the serial number for the added features.
Was this because I installed a new version of Photoshop or some other event? Obviously this should not have happened as I usually use the TWAIN version with ACDSee and that's not been upgraded in a while.
So what do I need to do to prevent this in the future?
Thanks,
Kevin

Kevin.
You have probably installed the Photoshop plugin of SilverFast in your new PS 7 directory. That might be the reason why you had to input the serial numbers again.
You are talking about sending me files. Please send them to martin.muenier@silverfast.de, since I?ll be on holiday next week.
Eric.
