IT8 icon remains grey - won't turn blue

Postby EricLawrie » Sat Jul 14, 2007 11:18 pm

I have installed the latest updates 6.5.0r.8a for both Silverfast Ai and HDR 6.5.

I note that IT8 callibration has now become a pain (the grid is inverted and if I change the orientation of the scanned file of my IT8 profile the grid orientation changes too, damm it!). I can manage but how frustrating.

But the point of this note is to say that the IT8 icon no longer turns blue but remains grey, even when a pop up message says "callibration succesful".

Is this a new bug or have I done something wrong?

IT8 callibration used to be dead easy. It is now a pain!

Dear Eric

tried myself and couldn't reproduce issue with 6.5.1r1a.
Furthermore, please note that they are two options under > Options > Auto concerning the "auto IT8 calibration" and "custom ICC profiles".
Changing these settings accordingly will get you your "dead easy" SilverFast calibration back :)

I suggest you want to download and install the latest update release of your version of SilverFast from our website. You might experience that this already does solve your problem.
