Hi!
I use the plustek optic 7200 negative scanner. On my system there exists a icc for this scanner, but the output using this profile is too bright with no black or dark grey tones.
Using it8-calibration results in the opposite. the output is dark grey to black. white turns to RGB ~120-120-120. So I turned off the input profile in the options-menu and did the calibration by hand. My question now is: can I save these parameters for future use? I can save the parameters in the expert dialog, but I cannot find a function to load a parameter set.
2nd question: what's wrong with the it8-calibration, why is the resulting image so dark and can I modify this icc-profile ?
Thank you for your advice!
it8 generates wrong profile

dear pmitterboeck
I tested the scanner and here it functions normal. Probably the scanner lamp was not warm enough when you calibrated the scanner. Therefore the IT8 calibrations failed! If you launch the scanner with the original Plustek software, you will find a tool to determine the time how long the scanner lamp will stay switched on after the last scan - please check this.
If you still have problems please contakt our support
