IT8 file

I have a transparency 4X5 IC8 from and earlier version of Ai (have upgraded to 6.0) which is labeled in the lower left corner IT8.7/1-1993, and below this, 2002.03. Other information on it is, of course, LaserSoft imaging, and "for Kodak Ektachrom Professional Films Type 1, and your web address I just can't find the reference file for it anywhere. Can you please provide?

Hi,

There should be a label on the sleeve. On this label is the charge number. In 03. 2002 we had some charges. I can't say which you need, without this lable.

Go to DOWNLOAD, IT8 CALIBRATION FILES. There you will find a file named T020430.TXT.

I successfully downloaded this file and I own ver 6 ai for Epson 2450 and also for UMax Mirage ll. Where is the IT-8 calibration program (had previous versio I think) in either program? Can't find a way to download an additional charge upgrade for this feature either. Can't use the target for Monaco EZ color either since that program can't accept the downloaded file. Any help?

When you got the Version 6 update you should have gotten a password to activate the IT8 calibration. To update this click on the I on the top of your tool pallette and enter the IT8 password. You will then see the IT8 Icon on your tool pallette. If you puchased IT8 with your old version then you should have gotten it with the new one.
