IT8 calibration

1st question-
Can I use 3rd party IT8's and corresponding reference files with Silverfasts profiling? Such as Hutcheson's?
2nd question-
At what point in the data stream is the profile assigned? Is it pre gamma, or do I need to re-profile for a different gamma setting? And is it pre tonal edits?

Yes, you could use 3rd Party Targets, but they have to be IT-8.7/(1/2) - 1993 Targets. This means 12 x 22 Colorpatches with 24 greyscale below.

The calibration is after the gamma, befor all other tonal changes. You should use different profiles for different gamma options.
