After successful IT8 calibration I am asked "ICC profile already exists! Over right it?" But what is the name of the ICC profile? Looking at page 436 in the manual you should be prompted to save the profile by any name you choose. I have no idea what profile to select under Options, CMS, Profiles for ColorSync. In my MAC computer I cannot find any ICC profile files that were modified with the current date.
I am calibrating the Kodachrome IT8 slide with a plustek 7600i scanner with a current version of SilverFast Studio

Re: IT8 calibration saving ICC profile
The calibration process is fully automatic now.
A profile name is only requested if you activate this in the option's auto tab (but zhis is not necessary).
All calibration related settings in the CMS menu are done automatically.
You only have to set the target color-space (AdobeRGB, ProPhoto, etc.)
The created ICC profiles are placed in your users personal Library/Colorsync folder.
kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
