IT8 calibration fro Silverfast 8

What are the exact steps and settings to create an IT8 digital target in Silverfast 8? I assume one would have to scan a transparency target but what are the scan settings for this to ensure the digital target is accurate?

Sorry what are you trying to achieve?

Normally you only insert an IT8 target and do the automatic calibration.
The created profile is automatically used.
The process gives you a delta E value which describes the average deviation.
Values above 4 should be used with caution.
