I have taken screen shots of the four steps of my It8 calibration attempts.
Step 1 shows the prescan crop. - http://www.jimarnold.net/it8/1.jpg
Step 2 shows how I align the boxes. - http://www.jimarnold.net/it8/2.jpg
Step 3 shows me navigating to the Q60 file I downloaded off the SF site. Also I noticed that the message mentions a barcode, which my IT8 target does not have. http://www.jimarnold.net/it8/3.jpg
Step 4 shows the error message I get once I select the Q60 file.

Thanks for any help. I have calibrated this scanner in the past about a year ago but now no luck. I'm running 6.4.1r9a on OSX 10.3.9
You can alert me to a response at http://www.jimarnold.net/email/ as well
Thanks,
Jim

Dear Jim,
your mask of it8 patches is not oriented correctly.
Please make sure that the gray scale patches marked in the mask by a white square and a black square are placed over lightest and darkest gray scale sample colors.
Effectively you only need to rotate your mask by 180 degreees.
As your target does not contain a barcode, please download its reference file manually from the SilverFast web site.
Best regards
Martin
