Has anyone else encountered this? I wanted to recalibrate my
scanner and also add a 2nd profile for Fuji Provia, but with the version
I am now using (AI for Minolta 5400, 6.0.2r6), the profiles created
are totally wrong. and produce false color image when used. A check
with the LCMS profile checker confirmed that the profiles have a
problem (basically, the gamma values for some colours are off the scale).
Reinstalling didn't help, also when I use the old profile (which was generated
by an older version of SF), the colours are OK, so it looks as if there
is a new bug in the calibration. Targets etc. have also been checked,
they are OK.
Thanks,
Oliver

Dear Orothe.
Thanks for the interest in our Software Silverfast. Since the last version the Gamma gradiation was calculated twice into the image which leads to the problem you describe. This is corrected in the present sources and wil be available in the r8 release, as always online and free of charge of course.
Kind regards.
