Hi - the attached image is a (downscaled) result a get when I use the iSRD function. Please help - I have no idea what to do and found nothing similar in the manuals. The result seems to be independent of the scan resolution - I have tried various resolutions. It is very annoying not to be able to use the function that was my main reason to buy this software. Regards, Andreas

Re: iSRD not working - generating strange images
Dear Andreas,
This happens when the infrared beam can not penetrate the emulsion you are scanning.
This often occurs with dense Kodachrome and B&W films but can also happen with regular film in case it was not processed correctly.
This is unfortunately a physical effect, that can not be prevented. The effect is descried here.
You can try scanning the film with a lower iSRD detection value.
Or you can use our software sided SRDx
Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
