iSRD affects colors

Postby Kul » Mon May 22, 2006 9:15 pm

I already opened a ticket for that a couple of weeks ago, but so far didn't get an answer. So I want to ask if anybody else experienced similar results.

Due to other problems I made a lot of test scans with a set of 8 slides varying the settings. While I got results that were ok without iSRD (ok for the colors, not ok for the dust on the scans), when invoking iSRD (leaving all other settings as they had been) the colors changed and the the scans were real bad. That ranged from grey/greenish color casts to transparent horizontal greenish strips (no artefacts like when iSRD parameters are too high). Lowering the iSRD scaling manually didn't really solve the problem, i.e. the dust on the scans returned before the color shifts vanished.

This occured with 6.4.3r8 through 6.4.4r2

Anyone else with the same?
Regards

Kul

Sorry for that,

I just looked at it being another problem.

And again no blame intended, jjust wanted to ask if I'm the only one with similar problems.

Actually the reason I mentioned my ticket was to not LSI staff feel to have to respond.
Regards
