Hello SF forum,
I am a new user to silverfast 8 (Ai studio)and my question relates to saving IPTC data. I have looked through the forums and have not seen an answer to my question.
I am scanning old photos which contain groups of people. I want to save their names with the picture. I have found that when I go to the IPTC button, enter the info and save, it creates a whole new file. When I open that particular pic in SF HDR, the IPTC info is not there until I load the file with the data.
Is there someway to save the info with the pic so when I open the saved pic, the IPTC info is already there? Or is this how it works?
This may be a very simple thing but if someone could help that would be amazing.

Re: IPTC data
Dear customer,
The IPTC data is saved inside the image.
The save function in the IPTC dialog is used for saving the data for later loading for other images.
kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn
