inverted color

I am getting inverted colors when I try to scan transparencies. It happens randomly. Sometimes all the images get inverted sometimes half, sometimes no problem. This is a very annoying problem indeed. Epson 363 expression scanner has worked well for all the years I have had it but now it is acting up. Any one with suggestions please email me. I am using a Mac 7500/100, OS 9 with g3 proccessor aand 512 megs ram. Thank you for your attention.

Inverted colours will occur if you somehow set SilverFast for Negatives rather than Postives. Check that you are doing this by accident
