IMAGE SCANNED AS NEGATIVE BUT KEEPS SAVING AS POSITIVE

Postby hrhprince » Thu Jul 31, 2008 12:34 pm

Hi there, i am using a plustek opticfilm 7300. I am new to this program and scanning negatives. i really dont know what i am doing!! Scanning a negative is fine. when it saves it saves as a positive file even though on the screen it shows the image is colour as a negative file. is this supposed to happen? how can i save it as a colour image once scanned? HELP!!!

Dear hrhprince,
it could be that your Scan type is set to 48 Bit HDR ??
This is our archival mode, the negative conversion is not used there to not modify the raw data !
The thing you probably wish would be the 48 Bit Color Mode right on top of the HDR Modes !

Please let us know if that was / solved the problem.

Greetings,
