I recently upgraded to the IT8 calibration module. Once I've followed the on-screen prompts and go to the CMS tab to apply the profile just created, the profile is not available to be used only the ones created with Monaco show up. If I look up the file on my hard drive it shows that it is just a file (*.file) and not an icc profile (*.icc). Am I doing something wrong or is my software faulty?
Also, do the setting on the Frame and CMS tab influence the calibratin data or are those setting disabled automatically when calibrating? So far, with exception of the tutorial on Computer Darkroom, all other tutorials including the video on SilverFasts IT8 page don't mention thses settings so I assume that they have no effect on the calibration? Is that correct or do I need to pay attention to these settings?
ICC profile not available for selection after calibration

Dear blokkies.
Thanks for the interest in our Software SilverFast. First I would like to ask you to check if you have the latest update installed.
The frame settings are independent of the pure hardware calibration. In simple words calibration means knowing how your scanner sees colors.
Naturally the CMS settings do affect the handling of the calibration since CMS stands for "Color Management Settings".
Kind regards.
