I keep getting this message
I tried to scan some B & W negitives, I think I clicked the right boxes, tried scanning but now I get a message which reads "Please note that 12 bit jeg files cannot be opened by all image applications". After scanning the image could not be seen! I tried to put everything back to how it was in color neg with 48 bit and tried scanning a clor neg BUT still this message comes up even with the color neg settings which I put back to 48 bit???? Now I cant scan anything because the image will not appear???? HELP

Re: I keep getting this message
Dear dirtyrat,
you can only avoid that message if you choose a scan type like 48bit->24bit (36bit->24bit) or 16bit->8bit Greyscale.
36bit (3x12bit channel) or 48bit (3x16bit channel) images can only be opened by certain programs like SilverFastHDR or Photoshop. Therefor a warning is issued when trying to produce high bitdepth files.
kind regards
