Hi,
I'm brand new to Silverfast 8 SE Plus (with a V700 scanner) and I'm quite impressed so far scanning 35mm slides. One thing I haven't been able to figure out is which auto correction would possible fill the nostrils of that girl with skin color, which is kind of bizarre. This also happens in some, but not all dark areas of a couple of slides I've scanned.
I would appreciate help with this.
how do I avoid this weird auto-"correction"?

Hi dpscanner
Most likely SRD is set to correct black scratches and particles. In that case you have to use a mask on the area you wish to correct or turn off the tool
Cheers

Thank you Alejandro. Turning off iSRD took care of it. My slides are clean anyway.
