Green Colorcast

Green Colorcast
I am having problems with your software that I cannot seem to fix. The final scan has a very strong green colorcast. All final scans are 48-bit at 4000 dpi using a CanoScan 4000. The problem exists with both slide and negative film. The editing part allows me to do a prescan, edit and correct without incident. The problem only happens during the final scan. To solve the problem, I upgraded to 4.40r9 Serial (Mac OSX v 10.2.
and reinstalled the software several times. The software is used as a stand-alone program and not as a plug-in for Photoshop. I am convinced that it is not a hardware problem since I get acceptable scans of the same slides or negatives using the current version of v**s**n software. I appreciate any help that anyone can give me.
Dear MacDawg
please don't hesitate to contact LaserSoft Imaging support staff: http://www.silverfast.com/problemreport/en.html
I would appreciate if you could paste a fresh copy of the SF_Logfile in the problem report.
On a Mac OS X PC you will find the SF_Logfile in /Users/(your username)/Library/Preferences/LaserSoft Imaging.
You could of course also you the search function of your system to find the "SF_Logfile". The SF_Logfile is always created anew when SilverFast is started up, even if no scanner can be found, it will be created.
Simply open it with your text editor (double clicking the SF_Logfile) and select all the text (Mac: CMD+A). Then copy the selection to the clipboard (CMD+C).
Go back to the problem report and click inside the text field. Move the text cursor to the end of your problem description and insert the SF_Logfile from the clipboard (CMD+V).
I also would need a file called "SF Statistics" which lists the details on the scan settings which seem to be problematic on your machine.
You can generate it from the (button on the horizontal panel in the settings window:) "Expert Dialogue" -> button "Output Statistics" [see a screenshot at: viewtopic.php?p=10289 ].
Thanks in advance for your co-operation.
Kind regards
