Hello,
I am trying a trial of Silverfast with my new Epson V500 scanner. While it does produce a generally very good quality scans, it is very cumbersome to work with. And I think that is because I dont really understand how to do things.
First of all, how do I save frame layout? I put 2 strips of 6x36mm tape into Epson V500 holder. Then I do a prescan. Find image frames does not work, finds out of place frames. So I have to mark each frame by hand, which is very time consuming. I did not find a way to save those frame positions for later use..
Then, how do I apply all the settings to all the frames on the image? Now I need to specify DPI, AACO, NegaFix settings for each and every frame! But how do I set them for all the 12 frames at one go?
Hopefully Im missing something here..
General workflow..

Re: General workflow..
Dear mrQQ,
In SilverFast Ai you can save Frame settings in the "Setting" drop-down menu and frame layouts (several frames) in the general tab's "Frame-Set" pull down menu.
Saved frame settings can be used as "Default Setting".
This can be selected in the options general tab.
You will find all saved settings in the pull down menu.
The selected setting will be used for every newly created frame.
kind regards
Arne Ketelhohn
