Explain me the usage of each software: i'm lost !!!

BONJOUR ladies and gents

I bought a Silverfast SE Plus 8 : ok : i handle my scanner .

A ) i 'm trying the beta HDR 8 : can I scan as well ( in the future version ? ) or not , with HDR 8 .

B ) about Silverfast AI Studio 8 :
can I calibrate my scanner AND my printer as well , or only the scanner ? (with the IT8 feature.)
have i to buy the specific colored cartoon ( mire IT8) for -120 format- slides ( FUJI) and 4X5 inches ( FUJI ) , or only one?

Dear Michel,

SilverFast HDR is our offline processing software.
It is meant for processing 48/64bit HDR raw images.
It does not posses any scanning abilities of it's own.

SilverFast 8 currently calibrates your scanner.
The printer calibration option will be available in a later release.
