Exact preview disabled

In SilverFast 8.8 HRD Studio, in the GANE, USM and SRD parts of the Workflow I am getting a message "exact preview disabled". It seems to prevent the functionality operating. Why is this happening and what can I do to resolve it.

The exact preview is activated by clicking on the 1:1 or HQ button.

Thanks for the response. No HQ button displays, but I had pressed the 1:1 button and "exact preview disabled" still shows.

Dear customer,

If you do not see a HQ button, your version might be outdated. Try installing the latest update.

Also try using a higher resolution. The 1:1/HQ Preview only activates if the resolution is not already filling the preview area.

I am already on Version 8.8.0r3.
I have increased the resolution from 2000 ppi to 3000 ppi, which does result in an increased zoom when I press the 1:1 button, but it still says "Exact preview disabled".
No HQ button is displayed.

Dear customer,

Have you checked the "About SilverFast" if really the 8.8.0r3 is installed?
If it is try resetting SilverFast through the welcome screen's service dialog.

The original image would have to be larger, raising the resolution in SilverFast HDR Studio would not change that.
What you can also try is simply dragging the window a little smaller.
The percentage below the maginifying glass must be below 100% for the 1:1 preview to be able to activate.
