Everything's coming out positive

Postby Pogle » Tue Nov 08, 2011 8:51 pm

I'm a bit new to all this so sorry if this is obvious.

I'm scanning negatives with SF8 and PlusTek OpticFilm 7600i Ai and just getting used to the settings before going ahead with a mass digitisation. At some point today, while experimenting with file formats, all the full scans started coming out looking like negatives which, since the source is a negative, I guess means the setting is a positive. But in the Prescan the image comes out correctly as a positive. Under 'Select material to scan' it is definitely set to negative. I've tried switching it to positive but it doesn't make any difference. It seems to be stuck.

Does anyone have any suggestions before I reinstall the software?
Thanks

Dear customer,

Please make sure you are not using a 16/48/64 HDRi raw image format.
Those are intended to be used in our ArchiveSuite workflow and processing in SilverFast HDR (studio).

kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.

Thanks. That was indeed the problem which I finally found out after trying many other things.
