Epson V500 and iSRD

I am using the demo of AI Studio for the Epson V500 scanner. I cannot seem to find the iSRD button. I have searched the Silverfast website, but can't seem to find which scanners support iSRD (I thought I saw somewhere that with the new upgrade, iSRD was supported with all Epson scanners)

Will Silverfast do iSRD for the Epson V500? If so, how?

currently ICE/iSRD is not available for this scanner as we are currently not allowed to access the infrared channel due to licensing restrictions:

Dang! Is there anything we can do to help with this.... i.e. complain to Epson. Or.... does it really not matter.
