End of Batch Scan Audio Alert

Postby dbarbey » Wed Jan 06, 2010 10:18 pm

Hello,

I did a quick search for this, but I didn't find the answer. When I batch scan images on my Microtek scanner using Silverfast Ai, it gives me a nice little song when the batch scan is complete. I have switched to scanning with my Epson Perfection 3200 (also using a version of Silverfast Ai), but it doesn't play me the tune when the batch scan is done.

I have found that the song is a really great way for me to do other things while scanning without needing to constantly monitor the scan process. Is there a place I need to go to turn this feature on for the Epson scanner? Or is it something only related to Microtek?

Thank you, in advance, for you help!

~ Dan

Dear Dan,

The song shuld also play with the Epson plug-in when a batch scan is finished.
I have tested this and you are right the dialog does not show up as it should.
This will have to be fixed by our developers.

kind regards

Hello,

Do you know if this has been completed by the developers yet? It still doesn't seem to be working in the version I am using (v6.6.2r4), so I thought I would check in.

Thank you,

Dan

Dear Dan,

This has not been fixed yet.
Our developers probably still have to work on projects with a higher priority.

kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
