I have the following problem when big files are saved in folder who is opened with Adobe Bridge.
When saving after scanning first a file appears with filename initially set (045.dng for example). Soon a new file with file namer 045.dng.13284 will appear. When I try to open the original DNG file all software is reporting an error. In reality the DNG file is just an empty file and is unable to open. In order to access the file I have to delete the dng file and to rename the file 045.dng.13284 as 045.dng. Only than I can access it. This issues can be observed in win7 and win10 and with all the adobe bridge versions in the last two years.
This issue is not appearing when I am using Epson Scan and VieScnan.
In the following link you can see the scanning and saving process.

Dear user,
yes unfortunately Adobe bridge blocks the writing process of the image und SilverFast can not prevent that.
So you will have to save to a folder not monitored by Bridge.
Kind regards,
Arne

Re: DNG file Save problem in folder who is opened with Adobe Bridge
That's what I know, but why does this problem have it only when writing files with SilverFast and no problem with any other scanning program or program that creates files in a folder open by Bridge.
Why not make the dng13284 write to any other folder and then move it to the store folder.
Believe me, this is extremely uncomfortable in all day work with these programs and scan large files.

Dear user,
The files are not removed but simply renamed when the metadata is being written.
I have forwarded your request to our product management.
Kind regards,
Arne
