i have silverfast se plus 8 and i don't find the descreen icon.
how can i add it ?

Dear customer,

Please make sure you are in reflective mode.
Descreening is a tool for reflective scans and not available for transparencies.

I cannot select "custom" to type in my descreen settings. This has not been addressed for over 1 year. I can only select the defaults.

Shortly after I upgraded to version 8, I can no longer select custom settings. PLEASE fix this.

Are you using the latest release?
This issue has been solved quite some time ago.
But only Ai Studio allows this stetting.

So when I upgraded from version 6 to version 8, I lost that feature? Why?

Did you maybe previously use a more advanced version like Ai or Ai Studio?

Basically the functions should be the same in 6 and 8.

I recently upgraded to Silverfast AI Studio Version 8.0.1r54.

Now, the Descreening icon on the vertical bar of icons is always greyed out. There is no Descreening menu in the control box of menus to open. There is nothing else anywhere that I can find to access Descreening.

I am in "reflective" mode; and the format is set to Custom. Still no access to Descreening.

How can I descreen my scans? Where is Descreening?

Dear customer,

Are any other tools unavailable?
If yes, make sure you did not select one of the HDR(i) archive file types.

Which scanner are you using?

Descreening requires a resolution of 600dpi.

Have you tried resetting(deleting) the frame through the frame menu?
