I have been working with SF support on this for awhile with no luck so I thought I would post here. I have a very old picture that I scanned and used the Histogram Colour Cast Removal tool to get rid of the yellow color cast. (48 to 24 bit scan) But when I do the final scan it scans in with the yellow color cast. If I scan at 48bit it keeps the adjusted color and if I change defaults so I am using CMS (ICM), it also keeps the adjusted color. The 48bit scan results in a large file size.
I am using Windows XP, SF Ai, Microtek i700. I replaced the pref folder once. I am using the latest SF update.
Do I have to use CMS to get the color adjustment tools to work in the 48 to 24 bit scan?
Color adjustments don't show in final scan

ffreeman,
Using CMS is recommended in any case, but I'm surprised and find it interesting that your file sizes are larger merely by selecting CMS.
Has anyone else found that changing the default CMS settings results in larger file sizes?
