Best fixing ???

Postby Pascale » Fri Jul 31, 2009 3:25 pm

Hello, I want first to apologize for my english that is not as fluent as I would like to ...

Got an opticfilm7200I to scan familly pictures (diapos and negatives), I succed to do some but whatever I try to change, I always get get "small" pictures (about 500ko) and they are not very "sharp" ... I like Hamilton pictures but mine are not supposed to look like that !!! Before keeping on going scanning my almost 1000 pictures I would love to be sure that I don't miss an important criteria to get the best image out of the scanning (I am not thinking of using any photo shop or other to fix a very medium result ...). When I fix the informations for scanning, the announced size can be a very big one (such as 3,5 mo) , it always commes out aroud 400, 450 mo ... :o :(
Please try to be as basic as possible in your answer, it could be very frustrating for me not to understand !!! :D

If someone could indicate where I could find a users notice in french ??? That would be very welcome ... :D

Many thanks

Pascale

Dear Pascale,

You should use first go into the "frame" tab and using the resolution slider of the bottom move it until you get some 3600 dpi, it should do the enlargement easily.
