Batch scan names with index

Postby swcampos2 » Sun Sep 11, 2016 1:01 am

Using SilverFast 8.8, Version 8.8.0r5, Build number: 16963, EPSON Perfection V700 scanner and my problem is that I am scanning a batch of prenamed slides and wish to keep the name and numbers that or already on those slides. When I scan the first batch everything is correct but when I start the second batch the file name is the same as the original name with the new index appended. Example: my slide are labeled 93 AK 0001, 93 AK 0002, etc. When I start the second batch they become 93 AK 00010013. I have to rename the base name to 93 AK and then every slide ion this batch is named correctly but I have to do the altering of the base name every batch. Is there a way to keep the original base name though multiple batches?

Dear user,

If you do not activate the auto numbering in the batch dialog the original file name from the scan dimensions dialog will be used.

Kind regards,
Arne
