Auto-reset before/after scan in Ai?

I'm new to SilverFast Ai and have a question that I can't seem to answer on my own. I've noticed that the prescan image and settings are retained after each scan. The problem is that with each new scan I have to manually reset all settings (from the previous scan).

Is there a way to set up Ai where all settings revert to a default before scanning?

Dear Svegliando.

SilverFast Ai will always keep the settings from the last scan. This is because you might scan the same image with sligthly different settings (adjust the settings, if you are not satisfied with the first scan). Also all images might be of the same kind, which means that you might want to use the same settings for all images.

To reset all settings, press the schift key and click the option button (which title turns into "reset all", whenn shift is pressed).
