Auto frame detection not available

I've been using Silverfast Ai Version 8.8.0r6 with an Epson Expression 11000XL to scan individual items for some time now.

Today was my first attempt to scan slides. I want to use the auto frame detection and batch scan features. I followed this instructional video for how to use auto frame detection: http://www.silverfast.com/highlights/autoborder/en.html. But my "frame" menu does not have the "find frames" option (see attached screen grab).

This comparison chart leads me to believe that all versions of Silverfast have the auto frame detection feature: http://www.silverfast.com/comparison/sc ... 6.5&popup=

Can anyone tell me how to turn on the auto frame detection/"find frames" feature?

Dear Patsy,

The Ai version you got is a bundle version which unfortunately does not include the automated frame finding.
You will need to upgrade to the Ai Studio if you want to use it.
