Hi!
I am trying to scan 35mm colour film strips (positive) to disk files on an Epson Perfection V700 using Silverfast AI. After setting the parameters: 48>24 bit colour, Digital ICE is on, and resolution brought up to 3200 dpi (used (recommended?) by the instructor on one of the SF videos), I start the scan. The first frame scans apparently without problem: Digital ICE seems to take an eternity, but anyway a 44 MB file is outputted.
Then the next frames are digitised at 228 dpi, the SF default or starting value. Digital ICE is turned off as far as I can tell by the lack of the specific scan which too place on the first frame. Note that the scan resolution shown on the control window remains at 3200 dpi and that the ICE button stays ON.
Previous to this, I had performed a reinstall of Silverfast AI Photoshop mainly because I could not remember whether I had downloaded the Photoshop or Twain version. Photoshop is still in its initial installation, although updated.
What could be wrong here?
AHF

Re: Accuracy drops in batch scanning to file
Dear customer,
Did you put in the settings for each frame?
All the frames have individual settings.
You can copy settings from one frame to another by pressing alt+clicking into the target frame.
Or by using the copy settings to all frames in the "find frames dialog".
kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.

Re: Accuracy drops in batch scanning to file
Hi When doing batch scans. How can I set all 3200 dpi for slides at once, instead of, one at a time?
