There is likely an FAQ on this or a previous post… I can't find either.
I've got an Epson v700 and a Nikon Coolscan v ed with Silverfast serials for each scanner. For some reason I can't access both scanners in the software though. I'm thinking I've simply not installed properly, right now I can only access the Epson (the last scanner that was installed). Is there a solution for setting up two scanners on one computer?

Re: 2 scanners 1 computer
Dear Mr Hughes,
This most often happens if SilverFast 8 versions of different releases are installed.
SilverFast uses individual modules for each scanner but has certain common core components.
An older module will not be able to use newer core components.
Please make sure you have installed the latest update from our website for both your scanners.
Then they will both be usable.
The automatic update function in the service dialog can then help you to keep them all up to date.
Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
