Ich habe folgendes Problem:
I've the following problem:

Ich versuche mit einem Epson 1640SU von einem Ilford XP2 6x6 zu scannen und werde trotz vielen verschiedenen Versuchen den Moir?-Effekt nicht los. Was mache ich falsch?

I would like to scan with a Epson 1640SU from Ilford XP2 6x6 and receive only scans with moir?-effects. What do I wrong?

Sorry of my poor english!

Dear Martin,
is it really a moir? pattern you have? Did you activate the descreening function in "Filters"? any better?

If not, try to scan at 100% scaling with a hardware resolution:
click mouse into output resolution field, press CTRL on keyboard, if value changes the new indicated value is the closest hardware resolution used.
change scan resolution (without CTRL key pressed) to that value. any better?

Is it moire patterns, or newton rings? If you film is in contact with the glass, it can happen. I have had 6x6 film touch the glass, causing Newton rings, even using the Epson film holders.

If you want to scan to the edge of the film, you can use s scanner fluid like Kami and mylar sheets. No Newton rings and it hides dust and scrarches. Just don't let the fluid get inside the scanner. (I put tape around the glass/plastic seam on my 1640su.)

Hi Peter!

Thank You for reply. You can see a samplescan on my web-site.

The picture scanned from a ilford xp2 6x6 is at the first page. Scans from fuji superia 35mm have the same errors.

At my office I've an Epson Perfection 1650 and the 35mm-scans from this device dosn't have any errors???

What your sample shows is quite different from newton rings. I haven't yet seen anything like that in my scans.
You ought to try Martin's suggestions. Here is a link to a Lyons tutuorial on grain, descreening and moire patterns.
