Hi,
I used 'skin tone' as the color standard on one whale image and thereafter for four attempts all other prescans and full scans appeared as 'skin tone'. This AFTER I had re-set the setting to Standard.
Then on a whim I set the menu back to 'skin tone' and voila!! - back to normal color standard.
It appears the skin tone standard has switched itself with the 'standard' color settings.
Can you explain and help return the setting to default - as I will forget and then be all f---ed up in the future.
Thank you for your help.

Dear pasuther
on a Mac you want to click the backwards curved arrow button (the left button at the bottom of the settings window on the "Frame" tab) to "reset" your settings.
Using Windows you press down the Alt-key and shall find that the "Options..."-button (within the settings windows) has changed to a "Reset"-button.
Go ahead and click it.

Thanks for the quick reply.
So basically because I wasn't actually re-setting the type menu it remained in skin tone?
But then why did it swith back when I tested it in skin tone and results are standard?
Thanks

Dear Paul
strange behaviour. Haven't experienced that yet.
You could - but would lose other information (as serialisation, IT-8 calibration, presets), delete the SilverFast "prefs" folder while SilverFast isn't running.
Then start it up again - the prefs folder should be created anew with "factory settings".
