AGFA ARCUS = Microtek? or umax 1200S

Postby europanorama » Sat Oct 05, 2002 3:16 am

i have some troubles using the integrated transparenx-function because i do not haev a cable nor a manual. who has a manual and a cable?
i made my own cable and must know if the pins(15 pins) numbers is equal from plug to plug(pin 1 to pin 1 or pin 1 to pin15? you need an ohm-meter to test this. where can i get a manual on the internet(not arcus II)
mr heidorn of lasersoft means Agfa arcus was made by microtek, i suppose it was made by umax. all older Agfa Scanners made by UMAX. maybe its wrong. who knows better. i will now check microtek. agfa is of less help. on internet often one can see agfa arcus(umax 1200S).
umax says astra 1200s is 1200s. arcus has integrated transparency unit, 1200S has uta-2A external. maybe electronics are identical?
