SilverFast Update Page

Postby RAG » Tue Oct 17, 2006 4:01 am

How do I correct the information on the new SilverFast Update page? It shows that I have an Epson 4490 and I have a 4990.

Dear RAG

seems you registered your serial for an Epson 4490, then.
Please don't hesitate to contact support: https://www.silverfast.com/problemreport/en.html

Please note that the purpose of the imaging forum is not to provide personal support. It is intended to serve as a platform for imaging professionals for exchange of experience and communicating ideas [ viewtopic.php?p=9763&highlight=9763 ].
Therefore LSI staff will only provide limited support in the forum.
Thank you in anticipation of your kind co-operation.

Best regards

Sonny,

Actually my version was registered through sales directly and I suspect it was merely a typo.

I posted the message in this section since it seemed like it might be related to the recent web site changes. In the past my serial number was always associated with my Epson 4990.

Thanks!

Dear RAG

sorry for seeing this so late. User support in the imaging forum is done after the mails coming in through the webform are answered.
Can you please contact us via the webform sending your serial number so that we can change your reg data from 4490 to 4990?

TIA for your kind understanding and assistance,
Sonny Noack

Dear Sonny,

Thanks for the information. I did use the customer service and technical support webforms and the problem has been resolved.
